The Pink Tax Info graphic is an info graphic about the unfair pricing and taxing of products marketed towards women. I created this info graphic to highlight the unfairness that women have to go through to buy the same products as men, but for more. Not only using facts and statistics to describe the unfairness of the pink tax, but I’m also using symbols to properly visualize the unfairness of the pink tax. My process for this project was to do a lot of research on the pink tax and how it affects women. After that, I summarized my information and inserted it into my designed info graphic. I also made the icons in Adobe Illustrator. I learned a lot about the pink tax and the flow that we use when reading. My role was to research and design the pink tax info graphic.
